I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families on a wide range of presenting concerns, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, acting out behaviors, and trauma. I utilize comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to identify underlying problems and patterns of behavior and to guide recommendations for treatment, school, and home. I seek to help individuals and families to strengthen coping skills and peer and family relationships, and build on their strengths to foster growth in all aspects of their lives. I offer both therapy and testing and evaluation services for children and adolescents. My approach in therapy emphasizes a strong, collaborative relationship with each client and family based on genuineness, empathy, and positive regard. I apply a wide range of interpersonal, behavioral, and cognitive interventions, based on client needs and personality. My approach with psychological testing is focused on understanding the individual’s strengths and weaknesses across all aspects of their life – at school, at home, with peers, and their own internal world of thoughts and feelings. I emphasize taking a collaborative approach with families to identify questions that they would like to have answered, and I focus on providing concrete recommendations based on the results of testing.
