As a clinical psychologist, I have had the privilege of providing a range of services with a diverse clientele. However, the most rewarding aspect of my work is providing psychotherapy and assessment services to adults and adolescents who benefit from the collaborative and welcoming environment I strive to provide. I use a variety of approaches in accordance with each client's unique issues, goals, and experiences. This clinical flexibility, combined with a solid working alliance, offers the straightest path to meeting one's goals, whether these involve alleviation of symptoms or simply a greater understanding of one's self.
My background includes providing individual therapy and assessment (including psychological testing) at college counseling centers, schools, general outpatient clinic environments, and inpatient psychiatric settings. Depression, anxiety, relational and interpersonal difficulties, and trauma are among the more common problems and issues I encounter.
Older adolescents and young adults continue to be a population with whom I enjoy working. I have specialized experience assessing individuals with traumatic brain injury and other neurocognitive disorders such as dementia. Finally, a rewarding aspect of my career has been working with LGBTQQ individuals, of all ages.
