I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York and certified in perinatal mental health with over a decade of experience working with people throughout the lifespan. In my practice, I see adults and adolescents ages 14 and up. I have experience treating people with a variety of concerns, including family issues, interpersonal issues, trauma, grief, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and body image concerns, among others. In addition, I am certified in perinatal mental health, including fertility issues, mental health during pregnancy, pregnancy loss and traumatic birth experiences and postpartum mental health and adjustment. I also have extensive experience working with college students on a wide range of issues including mental health concerns as well as adjustment to college. Finally, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, which is a specific trauma treatment, and have experience working with various types of trauma. Therapy is not always a comfortable experience, as one is often bringing up issues and feelings that are difficult to think about and discuss. I strive from the beginning of the therapeutic relationship to make my clients feel safe and comfortable. I enjoy a collaborative relationship with my clients, and hope to make my clients understand that we are partners in the relationship, both working towards the common goals of addressing their concerns and increasing happiness. My office is conveniently located in Upper Bergen County, close to the Palisades Parkway, Route 4, Route 17, and the Garden State Parkway.
