Suzanne Womack Strisik, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist. She has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics of Alaska Native Languages from University of Alaska Fairbanks. Dr. Strisik recognizes the importance of cultural diversity and minority issues in her professional practice. She has published and presented on seasonal affective disorder, cognition and anxiety management, Alaska Native psychology, family systems theory and practice, and ethics. Her orientation is humanistic, systemic, and cognitive behavioral (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). She chairs the ethics committee for the Alaska Psychological Association.
