I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in New Jersey. I have been working for over a decade with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and university counseling centers. Prior to opening my practice, I worked as a staff psychologist in Fordham University’s counseling center, where I also completed my pre-doctoral internship. As the lead clinical liaison to Fordham's Division I Athletics department, I have expertise in working with elite athletes with a variety of mental health and performance-related concerns. I am a warm, nonjudgmental, and curious therapist. My training as a generalist allows me to use a flexible therapeutic approach to address a range of concerns. Research has shown that the most important factor in therapy’s effectiveness is the relationship between client and therapist, so I always use a collaborative approach and emphasize developing a rapport with my clients. Within this relational framework, I integrate psychodynamic, cognitive–behavioral, and mindfulness–based approaches to tailor treatment to each individual. During this time, I am pleased to offer teletherapy services for those with preexisting concerns, as well as individuals looking for support coping with the myriad ways they've been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
