Susan B. Day, Ph.D. is the president of Woods Creek Psychological Group, A Professional Corporation, and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing psychology in the city of Sonora for fifteen years. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychological at Meridian University. Previously, Dr. Day developed and facilitated group therapy programs at both Tuolumne County Behavioral Health, and Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services, assessed and counseled individuals in crisis, as well as those with substance abuse and anger management issues. Dr. Day offers a range of therapeutic options for her patients including talk therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, authentic movement, dream work, focusing/hypnosis work, Imaginal Psychology (IP), internal family systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She is experienced in helping people who are suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, attachment disorder, somatic disorders, and attention deficit disorders. She works with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. She conducts research on dream sharing and facilitates dream exploration groups.
