My clients tend to be adults professionals in their 20s-40s who are looking to establish effective coping skills for everyday stressors. I specialize in treating Adult ADHD and provide diagnostic assessment, psychoeducation, and utilize a strengths-based approach to help clients develop techniques to manage ADHD symptoms. Other common issues addressed include anxiety, depression, work-related stress, adjustment disorders, interpersonal problems, and multicultural issues. I have worked in a variety of settings including children’s residential care, community mental health, a university counseling center, and the Washington State Department of Corrections. My approach to therapy involves a collaborative and integrative approach. Therapy is a process that facilitates individual growth and acceptance. I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-oriented perspective, but also incorporate Reality Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, Attachment, Humanistic, and Family System interventions.
