Dr. David is currently in private practice full-time on Cape Cod in Yarmouth Port Massachusetts and is licensed in the states of Massachusetts, California, and Florida. He held a faculty appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences where he supervised interns and residents for 15 years before relocating to where he grew up on Cape Cod. Dr. David received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Southern California and he completed both his clinical psychology internship and his neuropsychology post-doctoral residency at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
Dr. David sees younger, mid-life, and older adult patients in his private practice both in-person and through HIPPA compliant online video software for individual and couple psychotherapy and for psychodiagnostic evaluations. Dr. David sees patients with a variety of issues including, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship problems, adult development, and personal growth, among others. Dr. David Provides structured and goal-directed evidence-based individual and couples psychotherapies and psychodiagnostic assessment services. As seen on Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Does" docu-series for Netflix, Dr. David is also available for media appearances and consultations.
