After completing my APA approved internship in Clinical Psychology at the VA Medical Center at Perry Point Maryland, I received my Ph.D. from the University of Delaware's Clinical Program. I later worked for seven years at the Terry Psychiatric Center in Delaware. Subsequently I helped found and continue to provide therapy services for SOAR, Inc., an outpatient center for survivors of trauma. I have also had a private practice. I am highly committed to helping my clients improve the quality of their lives by building a collaborative relationship with them. I work hard to tailor my skills in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Relational Gestalt Therapy to the individual needs and strengths of my clients. Areas of expertise include helping to improve mood; manage anxiety; further resolve past traumas; and enhance relationship skills.
