Dr. Stephanie Rabin Scherr is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience treating adults and children with OCD, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, insomnia, PTSD, and tic disorders. She also specializes in treating body-focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania (hair pulling), excoriation (skin picking), and nail biting. She utilizes various evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies (CBTs), including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Therapy (CT), and CBT for Insomnia. In addition, Dr. Scherr offers counseling and consultation for clients struggling with infertility. Dr. Scherr has provided psychological services in a wide variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, research clinics, and private practice.
