I am a clinical psychologist who is currently licensed in the state of Washington, and is also PSYPACT/APIT approved, to practice telehealth in participating states. I have over 11 years of education in neuroscience and psychology and have been practicing in the mental health field since 2011. This has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, school and career problems, life transitions, self-harm and suicidal ideation, among other areas of need. I've worked with a variety of diverse populations, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition, I have specialized training in working with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I try to use the best strategy that suits YOU as a person. After all, you are the most important part of this equation! I believe the relationships that we have throughout life can have a big impact on us all, so I want the relationship between you and I to feel comfortable and safe for you. I often use client-centered techniques that might offer cognitive behavioral suggestions, mindfulness practices, and the opportunity to provide you with a nonjudgmental space to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe in a strength-based approach, in which we balance improving your areas of need while emphasizing the parts of you that are already amazing.
