Dr. Stacey Pawlak is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC). She completed her graduate education at the University of Memphis and her clinical internship at the University of Iowa’s University Counseling Service. Dr. Pawlak has worked in the UIHC Women’s Wellness & Counseling Service since its inception in 2007 and has served as Director of the clinic since November 2017. This clinic provides comprehensive mental health care for pregnant and postpartum women. She has served as Health Psychologist for the UIHC Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility program since 2009, where she provides third-party reproduction consultations and infertility counseling. Dr. Pawlak’s areas of clinical specialty include infertility and reproductive health, and perinatal loss. Dr. Pawlak enjoys her work as a therapist and is honored to join her clients on their journey to better health and achievement of life goals. She believes strongly in the de-stigmatization of mental illness and in the power of shared experiences as a tool for recovery.
