I have been in practice for 38 years, and currently practice on Long Island, New York. I have considerable postdoctoral training, and, while I have a general practice, I have particular expertise in the treatment of OCD in both children and adults (I received training through the International OCD Foundation) and particular expertise in treating issues of intimacy and sexuality (I am certified as a sex therapist by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists). My work with children and adolescents is enhanced by my postdoctoral training in child and adolescent psychotherapy. In addition to helping clients in my office, I also help them through my many self-help books, written largely for children and their parents.
