Hi! I'm Dr. Rose. I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University, and both my master's degree and my doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa VAMC in Grand Island, Nebraska and completed my postdoctoral hours in private practice in Georgia. Currently, I have a private practice in Woodstock, Georgia where I provide psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to a range of clientele. I have trained in a wide variety of settings including the forensic unit of NW Georgia Regional Hospital in Rome, Positive Impact, the counseling and psychological services center at Kennesaw State University, and the trauma recovery program at the Atlanta VA.
My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored specifically to address your needs and presenting concerns. This means that I use techniques from a variety of psychological theories, including cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches, depending on our therapeutic goals. While I specialize in trauma and PTSD, I also have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and a variety of other concerns.
