Dr. Rose Mary Shaw is a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist. She is the founder of the Mindfully Well Center with offices in the Dayton area where she has established an integrative health and wellness practice, working cooperatively with family physicians and local wellness practitioners. Dr. Shaw is also on the medical staff of the Kettering Health Network, Sleep Disorders Clinic at Sycamore Hospital.
Dr. Shaw earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wright State University, and completed post-doctoral residency in neuropsychology at Indiana University, School of Medicine, Department of Neurology. Dr. Shaw also has specialized training in functional brain imaging (fMRI) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as advanced training in Behavioral Sleep Medicine from Penn State University.
Dr. Shaw serves as clinic faculty (6 years) at Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, where she provides supervision of graduate students and serves on dissertation committees. She also served as an adjunct professor (6 years) teaching Psychological Assessment and Brain and Behavior (anatomy and physiology of the brain).
Dr. Shaw is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association Board of Directors (13 years) and is currently the Past Vice-President of the Science and Education Leadership Team. She is active in the promotion of behavioral sciences at the high school level through involvement with the State Science Day and the Ohio Academy of Science. She is also the past president (4 terms) of the Dayton Area Psychological Association.
