I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, college counseling center, and private practice settings, in both clinical and administrative roles. I have a special interest in Humanistic/Existential, Relational and Cognitive Therapy approaches to psychotherapy and counseling, as well as clinical supervision. In the context of a supportive therapeutic relationship, my approach is an evolving process, tailored to what each client uniquely needs, and it can include a variety of approaches, from self-exploration and discovery to diagnostic clarification to help in learning skills to cope more effectively. I continue to be awestruck by the power and resilience of the human spirit, and I find much fulfillment in facilitating clients' navigating their way through complex challenges of life and finding their own meaning and direction.
