Dr. Rebecca Schwartzberg received her Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky and has spent over 20 years providing therapy and testing services. I have actively sought out clinical opportunities with diverse populations within a variety of settings. The breadth of my clinic work includes providing services at Veteran Administration hospitals, medical centers, community mental health centers, state and federal prisons, Indian Health Services clinics, residential treatment centers, nursing homes, inpatient wards, and university counseling centers. In each facility that I have worked I gained valuable experience with those that struggle with mental health disorders and/or an addiction. Examples of specialized training includes MMPI-2, trauma evaluation, SUD evaluation, relapse prevention, stress inoculation, prolonged exposure, cognitive processing therapy, harm reduction, interpersonal, DBT, seeking safety, motivational interviewing/MET, ACT, physician/provider burnout, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders cognitive-behavioral therapy. Given the depth and focus of my educational and clinical experience, I have been well trained in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders and substance abuse. I am truly dedicated to empowering others to be courageous and mindful on their journey to understand life balance and to finally feel fulfillment and centered.
