Dr. Aponte is a forensic psychologist and owner of Aponte Forensic Psychology, a specialized practice providing forensic (criminal, civil) psychological evaluations, as well as trial consultation services and education / coaching for attorneys. Areas of assessment include psychopathology, personality, criminal responsibility/mitigation, mental status at the time of offense, competence to stand trial, violence risk, and sexual recidivism risk. She regularly provides expert witness testimony across the state of California.
