Dr Rachel Lentz is a clinical psychologist, licensed in the state of Colorado. She has been working in the field of psychology since 1996, and has been independently licensed since 2004. Since 2001 she has worked exclusively with veterans, military, and their families overseas and in the United States. This includes almost 8 years she was an ADAF Psychologist and subsequently a civilian provider. She has been certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional by the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and is a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. In 2006 Dr Lentz was first trained in trauma treatment and has since been expanding her professional knowledge through continuing education, training, and consultation. She has been interviewed by AFN, NPR, and the local news on military and PTSD , and was requested by name to provide training to instructors at Intelletec Medical Campus on student veterans and PTSD. She has provided group and individual CBT, co-occurring substance abuse counseling, domestic violence and sexual assault training, inpatient trauma treatment, suicide prevention training, and Critical Incident Stress Management services. She has worked with folks who experienced extensive combat trauma, childhood/adult physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, and natural disasters, as well as populations of inmates, mortuary workers, healthcare professionals, emergency responders, and law enforcement.
Dr Lentz currently operates out of her private practice Lentz Psychological Services, P.C. She works with adult military, veterans, and family members who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns.
