My name is Dr. Patricia Brawley. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in private practice for more than twenty five years. I have always been deeply interested in mind-body interaction, health psychology, creativity, consciousness, and dreams. I am strongly influenced by mindfulness meditation practice, Buddhist philosophy, yoga, Jungian thought, and humanistic values and beliefs. In my private practice, I offer individual counseling and psychotherapy, and forensic consulting. I am an independent scholar and researcher with an interest in phenomenological thought and methodology. I have presented professional papers at national and international conferences across the United States, Canada, Japan, Italy, Finland, and Russia. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association, the Mississippi Counselors Association and the Mississippi Psychological Association. I teach graduate level courses at a University.
