I honor and recognize the courage it takes to reach out for extra support. As a scientist and clinician, my evidence-based practice integrates the best available research and a multiculturally-informed and social justice lens into our goal-oriented work together. Especially in this day and age, I also encourage fostering self-compassion and grounding ourselves in the present moment. I strongly believe in building a collaborative alliance together which is founded in authenticity, genuineness, and vulnerability. Together, we can explore what brings meaning to your life and how we can shape and enrich your life in accordance to your personal values. We can work together to create insight, explore shifts in perspective, and establish practical skills in order to help you reach your goals. In regards to my evidence-based practice, I specialize in providing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while incorporating other research-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness skills.
