I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified sexuality therapist who has an in-depth understanding of human behavior, couple dynamics, and sexual functioning. With over 30 years of experience in mental health, I being insights and warmth to my work with individuals and couples. I first established my practice in Richmond in 1995 to treat general psychological, emotional, and relationship issues in a safe and relaxed environment. Over the course of my work, I realized that some clients need to focus more specifically on the sexual dimension of their lives. After obtaining additional education and training, I became certified to practice sex therapy by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. Today, I am one of the most experienced certified sex therapists in the Richmond area and treat sexual difficulties with clients of all orientations. I am delighted to add sex therapy to the services that I provide and believe that my clients benefit from my wide variety of clinical experiences and academic pursuits.
