Are you feeling overwhelmed or stuck as you navigate a major life change? You're not alone. Life transitions come in many forms; positive or unwelcome, anticipated or unexpected. These changes can challenge your ability to cope, whether you are going through a career change, grieving a loved one, recovering from traumatic brain injury, considering retirement, returning to work after a stroke, or are helping a loved one with dementia. The focus of my practice is to help clients find comfort in moments of change and reinvention, and to develop coping methods for the rest of the journey. Having relocated internationally and changed careers, I know something about transitions. My prior career in high-tech sales/marketing informs my understanding of pressures professionals face. For clients who face cognitive challenges after a brain injury/illness I offer emotional support, expertise and guidance that helps build a path to increased independence and functionality. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with focused education and training in neuropsychology. My specialty is life transitions; my approach is practical. Whatever life transition you are facing, my overarching goal is to help you regain a sense of control and function effectively within a new circumstance.
