Licensed Clinical Psychologist treating adults across the DSM V diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, domestic violence, relationship issues, PTSD, sexual trauma, and Veteran issues. I am committed to client-centered values and emphasize strength, resiliency, and collaboration. My goal is to help you in your effort for change and growth. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches. The interventions that I use have been proven effective by research. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior therapy, certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and certified in the Treatment Collaborative for Traumatized youth and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents in Chronic Stress (SPARCS). In addition to helping clients resolve their concerns, I intend to promote self-efficacy and enhance a client's ability to work through life situations by actively collaborating with clients. During the therapeutic process, I follow the minimum but sufficient intervention principle and invite my clients to be active agents in the change process whenever possible and appropriate. I respond to my clients promptly, but as a rural office-based outpatient private practice, my service is unsuitable for clients with a significant risk of severe bodily harm to self or others, severe substance dependency problems, or acute psychiatric emergencies. I am a member of the AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION. I PROVIDE TELEMED SERVICES.
