Dr. Boucher is a child psychologist with over 20 years of experience assessing and treating children and adolescents in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, day treatment programs, school settings, medical facilities, and residential settings. In addition to direct clinical work, Dr. Boucher has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in psychology, provided clinical supervision for therapists in training, presented at community and professional workshops, and provided consultation services for school districts. Her areas of specialization include anxiety, developmental delay, ADHD, Autism, chronic illness, and trauma. She has specific training in Behavioral Interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress; Pediatric Hypnosis; Mindfulness; the assessment of Autism using the ADOS-2; and Compassionate Bereavement Care for Traumatic Grief. Dr. Boucher is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for her patients and their families, while helping them to reach their fullest potential. In addition to her passion for working with youth, Dr. Boucher understands the stressors that come with raising a child who is struggling, and she strives to provide emotional support and practical child rearing skills to parents and caregivers. Dr. Boucher enjoys many avocations which have included long distance running, yoga, singing in choirs, reading, outdoor activities, and caring for animals in need. She resides in Meridian with her husband, three children, and her "fur babies".
