Melanie Kennebeck, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults in various life stages. Her mental health career started in 2003, with the Army, when she enlisted as a mental health specialist providing services to soldiers and their families. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology through the University of Maryland University College in 2008. She continued her career by earning a Master of Education in School Counseling through Bowie State University, in 2011. After working in the schools for a few years, she continued her education by earning a Master of Arts in Psychology from Walden University, in 2017. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University, in 2019. In March 2022, Dr. Kennebeck completed the state licensure requirements and became a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides client-centered cognitive, emotional, and behavioral services to support individuals and families while they work toward positive change and start living healthier lives.
