I am a retired clinical psychologist and former integrative psychologist with more than thirty-five years of professional experience in clinical practice, teaching, and supervision. My early work focused on trauma recovery, complex post-traumatic stress, and the integration of mind-body approaches within evidence-based psychological care. Throughout my career, I have been deeply interested in the relationship between consciousness, healing, and human potential, exploring how psychology and contemplative traditions intersect to foster wholeness.
Following my formal retirement from clinical practice, I have continued my lifelong study and teaching within the Vedic sciences—Vedic Astrology (Jyotisha), Ayurveda, and Yoga philosophy—and now work as a Vedic Counselor. In this capacity, I provide educational and consultative services designed to enhance self-understanding, life alignment, and personal growth. My work is not psychotherapy and does not constitute the practice of psychology; rather, it draws upon the contemplative, philosophical, and educational dimensions of the Vedic tradition, integrated with insights from modern psychology.
As founder of Vaishnavi ~ Vedic Counseling Solutions, I offer mentoring and teaching that emphasize clarity, compassion, and practical application of timeless principles in daily life. I also established the Rebel Mystic Community, a space dedicated to collaborative learning, spiritual inquiry, and collective awakening.
My professional evolution reflects a consistent mission: to promote awareness, integrity, and healing by bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary understanding—supporting both individual and collective wellbeing through education, reflection, and conscious living.
