Dr. Martha Baker is a clinical psychologist in Huntsville, Alabama with twenty-nine years of experience working with adults in her private practice. Prior to establishing her psychology practice, she was employed as a staff psychologist at the Huntsville/Madison County Mental Health Center and as an instructor at Calhoun Community College. She earned her doctor of psychology degree from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her internship at University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology. She holds a master of science degree from Nova University and a master of movement therapy degree from Antioch/New England Graduate School in Keene, New Hampshire. She worked in Miami for nine years as a movement therapist serving psychiatric patients at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, Miami Children's Hospital, and Highland Park Hospital.

A Huntsville native, she is married to blues musician and visual artist Rick Godfrey. They enjoy camping, biking, ballroom dancing, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors.
