Education: BA in English (writing), minor in Music, Queens College 1959; MA Harvard, Teaching (English) 1961; Ed.D. Harvard, Psychology, 1978. Internships: Emerson Hospital and McLean Hospital. Author of one professional book (Second Childhood, Norton) and many chapters and professional papers. My other non-psychology area of specialty is writing (poetry): several hundred published poems, three books, and a fourth due out in 2021. I am also a musician. On the personal side, I grew up in New York, am married with two adult children and five grandchildren.
