Dr. Margaret (Peg) McCarthy earned her bachelor's degree in English from Yale University and her Master's and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Colmery-O'Neil VAMC in Topeka, Kansas. She maintains a private practice in Topeka in psychotherapy and psychological testing for individuals, couples, and families who are adolescents or adults. Additionally, she facilitates a therapy group for transgender adolescents and young adults. She is a member of APA and WPATH.
