Lynn Chachkes, Ph.D. received her doctoral degree in School & Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. Dr. Chachkes completed a predoctoral internship at McLean Hospital, Department of Psychology, Harvard Medical School and postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, Developmental Medicine Center. Dr. Chachkes has been a clinical instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School, Department of Psychiatry. She is a licensed psychologist and licensed school psychologist, working for Newton Public Schools and in private practice with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Chachkes has experience with program development for elementary and secondary Autism programming and is licensed as a special education director, bringing this advanced understanding of schools to her work with families. Dr. Chachkes specializes in neuropsychological assessment and cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents with ADHD, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Past academic appointments have included adjunct instructor positions in the Tufts University School Psychology Program and Northeastern University. She also functions as a psychologist internship and practicum supervisor to various area programs.
