Talking to someone who truly listens can be life-changing. You may have clear ideas about what is troubling you or a general sense that things could be better. I work well with people who are motivated to deepen self-understanding. My approach is collaborative, exploring new ways of thinking while attending to underlying feelings. Working together, you can gain more freedom in your life and have more satisfaction in areas of self-esteem, relationships, work and play. I work with adults, adolescents and children in both English and Spanish. I have over 20 years of experience in clinical work and a broad range of experience. In addition to a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I have completed four years of formal education in psychoanalysis, reflective of my ongoing commitment to learning. Although my current focus is on private practice, I have also worked at hospitals, community mental health centers, an adolescent day treatment center, and an assisted independent living program for seriously disturbed adults. If you have questions or would like to set up a consultation appointment, please contact me by phone or email.
