Linda Olsen Webber, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in both Arizona and Alaska.
She trained at the University of Chicago, where she began her lifelong work of developing Experiential Psychotherapy methods and Focusing. She has been in private practice in Chicago, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Alaska, and Chandler, Arizona, and has taught at the University of Alaska, the California School of Professional Psychology, and UCLA. With two colleagues, she founded the Family Institute of Los Angeles. She was active in training European professionals in Experiential Psychotherapy from 1978-1995, contributing to the development of several training centers, and has taught Integral Communication© skills internationally for the last 30 years. She is now Co-Director of the International Institute for the Communication Arts and Intuitive Eye Press, providing training, consultation and mixed media publications. She has taught and lectured internationally, has been a consultant to private and public agencies, large and small businesses, legal firms, and training and educational institutions. She is the co-creatorof Speakeasy®, a marital and intercultural communication game, and co-author of training manuals, video and audio tapes on Integral Communication©. She is a certified Yoga teacher and integrates principles of Yoga into therapy. She has worked extensively with trauma issues with many forms of psychotherapy, provides Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Services, and is a certified EMDR therapist, consultant and facilitator.
She received the following awards from the Alaska State Psychological Association: Distinguished Professional Contribution to the Community, 1993, Distinguished Lifetime Contribution to the Community, 2005, Psychologist of Distinction, 2010, Distinguished Lifetime Achievement in Psychology, 2018.
She currently specializes in working with chronic illness, mindfulness, life transitions, aging, somatic based therapy.
