Dr. Lauren Perez, PhD, BCBA, is a licensed pediatric psychologist and founder of WholeChild Wellness in Scottsdale, Arizona. She provides both in-person and telehealth therapy for children, teens, and young adults across Arizona and PSYPACT-participating states.
Dr. Perez specializes in feeding and eating challenges, ADHD, anxiety, and emotion regulation, offering integrative care that addresses both the child’s inner experience and the family systems that support growth. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology and Feeding Disorders at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, where she gained extensive experience working within interdisciplinary teams and supporting children with complex medical and behavioral needs.
Drawing on her background in psychology and applied behavior analysis, Dr. Perez delivers therapy that is evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and developmentally responsive. Her approach bridges behavioral science, attachment, and mind-body health to help children and families move through change with steadiness and confidence.
Through WholeChild Wellness, Dr. Perez offers individual therapy, parent coaching, and creative group programs that blend structure with playfulness. Her mission is to help kids, teens, and parents understand regulation, rebuild trust in their bodies, and strengthen the foundations of resilience—so that progress feels sustainable, not stressful.
