Dr. Laurie Drucker has a private practice working with children, adolescents and adults. She graduated from Pepperdine University in 2001 and opened her private practice in Reno in 2003. She has extensive training in the impact of childhood trauma and wrote her dissertation about the role of dissociation in long-term adaptation to childhood abuse. In addition, Dr. Drucker integrates the findings from interpersonal neurobiology and mindfulness techniques into her clinical practice. Dr. Drucker is actively involved with the Nevada Psychological Association, currently serving as Northern Region President and Legislative Co-Chair. Dr. Drucker consults with a local non-profit and has made presentations to community groups regarding stress.
