Laura Krasean, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist. She uses a patient-centered approach to assist women who experience chronic pain, and/or other emotional concerns. She primarily employs cognitive-behavioral techniques to assist women with chronic pain management, including relaxation, reconceptualization, and distraction. She provides help managing difficulties related to pain, including poor sleep, increased stress, and interpersonal concerns. She also values helping women with chronic disease management and adaptive behavior change.
Dr. Krasean completed her Ph.D. at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. She completed her doctoral internship at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, MI, and her postdoctoral fellowship at the New Mexico VA Health Care System in Albuquerque, NM, with a focus on interprofessional health.
