Through a sound, comprehensive diagnostic psychological evaluation, Dr. Jones partners with children and families in the greater Indianapolis and Lafayette areas to address any concerns that are impeding their optimal functioning. Her areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disabilities in children, adolescents, and young adults. She specializes in assessing and identifying comorbid diagnoses and provides psychological evaluations for children with suspected autism spectrum disorder, learning problems, attention difficulties, challenging behaviors, mood disorders, and developmental delays. She works with families to identify resources in the medical, educational, and community environments that will best fit their needs after the evaluation has been completed. Dr. Jones also provides short-term treatment services to children and families presenting with behavior challenges, feeding difficulties, and mood disorders. She is a First Steps provider. Most recently, Dr. Jones worked at the Riley Child Development Center at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health and as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Indiana University School of Medicine. While at Riley Hospital, Dr. Jones worked as part of an interdisciplinary team with a variety of medical professionals, including pediatricians, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. In addition, Dr. Jones provided psychological supports to specialized teams on topics such as feeding, international adoption, and Down syndrome. Dr. Jones completed her predoctoral internship at the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Riley Child Development Center.
