Kyle is a bilingual (English and Korean) psychologist I have a broad range of experiences working with diverse individuals who suffer from cultural concerns, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, disordered eating habits, sleep hygiene, and life transitions of all types, and is particularly sensitive to issues around marginalization and immigration, including the experience of being bi-cultural. While he works with adults of all ages, he has a particular interest in working with young adults, as well as others in the process of launching their lives as adults. Kyle believes that we all have our own unique life journey, and that healing relationships can play an essential role in helping you to claim or reclaim yours. By exploring your own unmet, disowned and dissociated, ignored and neglected needs and desires, I can help you in therapy to re-engage your authentic self, and help empower you to resume the path that best suits you. Kyle's approach to treatment is integrative; that often involves a CBT, ACT, and relational psychodynamic lens as we explore underlying patterns of relating that are influencing your daily life. Kyle's clinical interests are self-awareness and reflection, intersectionality, self-empowerment and resilience.
