I have extensive experience providing therapy to young adults and university students. I enjoy helping clients work though feelings of loss, shame, and anger, multicultural issues, and the impact of unhealthy relationships. I also commonly work with obsessive compulsive disorders and trauma. I strongly believe that, as humans, we grow, improve, and find happiness through authentic and caring relationships. I bring this value into my therapeutic work with clients through open and collaborative approach. I view therapy as a partnership between us. You define the problem areas you want to work on, and I use my clinical knowledge to help you make the desired changes. I will be straightforward with you and will challenge you while giving you my genuine warmth and care. I also believe that culture and society play an important role in how we experience life. Working with you, I will strive to unpack how cultural expectations and societal influences are a part of your concerns. We will also discuss if culture and community can be a part of your healing. I accept the following insurances: Aetna, ChampVA, UMR, United Healthcare I provide therapy exclusively via telehealth to clients located in states that have enacted PSYPACT (most states, see https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap). I hold e.Passport with active Mobility Number 5853.
