As a Forensic Psychologist, Dr. Kristina Vincent provides comprehensive, objective, and thorough forensic psychological evaluations for state and federal courts. Dr. Vincent was awarded her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, an APA-accredited Program. She completed her APA-approved internship at the Center for Behavioral Medicine, in Kansas City, Missouri followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Vincent’s doctoral training focused on conducting forensic population competency evaluations, violence risk assessments, and sexually dangerous persons evaluations and was tendered as an expert witness while providing testimony in various court districts. She is licensed as a doctoral level Psychologist in the State of Georgia and PSYPACT authorized to provide services in any of the 34 PSYPACT approved states.
Dr. Vincent has many years of forensic and clinical treatment and evaluation in out-patient, in-patient, and correctional settings. Such experiences included working with/in Community Mental Health Clinics, County and Psychiatric Hospitals, family dependency court and the foster care system. Additionally, she has experience working with tribal courts and wellness programs in Washington state and Alaska providing services to Native Americans and tribal members. Dr. Vincent also has experience working with active duty service members and Marine Corps commands on US military bases in both North Carolina and California. Her areas of expertise include: clinical, criminal forensic, psychosexual, and neuropsychological assessment and treatment. She also provides individual and group psychotherapy services, testifies in court as an expert witness, and conducts comprehensive evaluations in most forensic areas for municipal, state, and federal courts
