Kimberly R. Mascaro, PhD, LMFT has worked in the fields of mental/behavioral health, and education for 20 years. Dr. Mascaro’s primary focus is on women’s issues – in particular, ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, spirituality, and grief/loss, as well as recovery from substance abuse. She is known for her warm, relational approach and holistic, eclectic therapeutic style, integrating traditional talk therapies with art, and dreamwork. She earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2013 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and a MS in Counseling Psychology in 2003 from Dominican University. Dr. Mascaro has served as faculty associate at Arizona State University for the past 17 years. Her most recent publication is Extraordinary Dreams (2018), published by McFarland. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Mascaro sits on the board of directors of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and is the chair of the ethics committee. She was born and raised in Northern California.
