Dr. Katie Franke is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at The Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment. As Director of Clinical Services, she oversees the activities and programs of the applied behavior analysis (ABA) and psychology departments, conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for developmental disabilities, and provides individual, family, and group interventions for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Her particular areas of interest include early childhood assessment, as well as the use of ABA to address food refusal and challenging behavior in children. Dr. Franke obtained her Ph.D. in school psychology at the University of South Carolina in 2018, and she completed her doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. At Kennedy Krieger, she completed rotations in the Pediatric Developmental Disorders and Pediatric Feeding Disorders program. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Autism Academy of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina.
