Dr. Stanley-Kime earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with an emphasis in healthcare systems management from Eastern Michigan University. She is board certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. During her doctoral training, she had the honor of serving our nation’s veterans at VA Medical Centers in Ann Arbor and Battle Creek, MI and Cleveland, OH. Dr. Stanley-Kime’s personal and professional passion is aiding the mental health recovery of individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, and she has received advanced clinical training to meet the needs of these individuals as well as their families/supportive others. Dr. Stanley-Kime is also experienced in providing outpatient mental health services to those experiencing a range of psychological diagnoses, including posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, specific phobia, major depressive disorder, and panic disorder. Dr. Stanley-Kime is skilled at providing psychological testing as well as collaboratively creating person-centered treatment plans that use a client’s strengths to cultivate meaningful, enduring life change. Dr. Stanley-Kime’s graduate training emphasized provision of time-limited, evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, behavioral interventions, and mindfulness-based approaches, to address mental health issues.
