I use Object Relations theory to inform my practice in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. In addition to my clinical practice, I facilitate a 10 month seminar in Infant observation which includes student's direct weekly observations of mothers/fathers and their infants. The goal is to understand the development of the infant/mother's mind as a means to understand their object relatedness. I am also Faculty in the introductory and analytic programs at the International Psychotherapy Institute in Chevy Chase, MD, within which the Infant Observation Seminar is a program.
