I am a Clinical Psychologist and Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Duke University Health System. I have directed the Patient Support Program at the Duke Fertility Center for over 20 years. Clinically, I specialize in working with patients facing infertility, fertility preservation, pregnancy loss, third-party reproduction, and perinatal mood disorders. Additionally, I train Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellows & Interns, OBGYN residents and REI Fellows. I serve on the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and lecture internationally on the psychosocial aspects of reproductive medicine and later-life parenting.
