I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual therapy with adults. Though I am originally from the Cypress area, I earned my doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2007, after which I completed a two year postdoctoral fellowship at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. While on my fellowship I received extensive training in the treatment of personality disorders and was also involved in clinical research in that field. I subsequently worked for several years at a hospital-based outpatient clinic in New York City that focused on helping individuals who struggle with personality-related issues. In 2013 I returned to the Houston area in order to take a position at University of Houston Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), where I presently work as a staff psychologist and serve as a clinical supervisor for graduate students.
