For eight years prior to moving to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I was Associate Director of Student Mental Health at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
Prior to that time I enjoyed two years consulting to a K-12 public school campus in Hopkins, MN and for three years prior to that, I was Director of the Counselors in Residence prgram and Resudent Director if they country’s first coed, room-by-room, dormitory at Macalester College in Sf Paul, MN. I moved to Jackson as consultant to the public schools while I founded the country’s first wilderness based residential treatment program for adolescents (Red Top Meadows in Wilson, WY. In private practice since 1980, I enjoy working with all manner of issues utilizing CBT / DBT & EMDR techniques and procedures. Through my market research activities during the 90s I designed and conducted the first national research into the feasibility and acceptability of conducting therapy online. Dashed by the dot-co crash, my client eTherapy.com failed, but their model is currently replicated by Psychology Today’s “find a therapist” website. I have long incorporated Tele-therapy in my practice and look forward to the opportunity to work with university students again.
