Dr. Jessa Carlile is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy and assessment services to adults through her private practice, Elevate Psychology. She is committed to bringing excellent clinical care to her extended community and specializes in evidence-based therapies that reduce distressing symptoms and improve quality of life. She strongly believes in the dynamic integration of science-based treatment with the art of client-centered, interpersonal processes. Dr. Carlile is a member of PSYPACT, which allows her to see clients via tele therapy in most states. Dr. Carlile welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds hoping to work through personal trauma histories, challenging health concerns, and/or identity integration. She recognizes the importance of fostering a strong therapeutic relationship built on respect and understanding. Together with her clients, Dr. Carlile will collaboratively develop a treatment plan that is unique to the client's specific aims, taking into account their cultural background and identity, as well as their skills and abilities. To best serve her clients, Dr. Carlile aims to maintain knowledge of the most current scientific research, as well as advanced training and certification in the best therapies available. She is also active in the fields of research and training. Dr. Carlile has presented her research at international professional conferences and authored scientific publications. She is an active member of professional organizations, serving on special interest groups in Diversity and Inclusion, Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and Trauma. Dr. Carlile has worked in multiple settings, including medical centers, Veterans Health Administration, and community mental health. She continues to collaborate with colleagues at academic medical institutions to help develop and improve psychological treatments and to better understand the experiences of underserved individuals.
