It is a privilege and an honor to work as a psychologist. Every day, I am amazed by my clients' capacity for resilience and growth. I was trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and always keep in mind the impact of early family patterns on current struggles. However, I integrate a variety of other schools of thought, including cognitive-behavioral and psycho-educational strategies. I work hard to help my clients understand themselves better and develop healthier ways of thinking about and caring for themselves and their relationships. My work is grounded in theory, but I also use life experience and aspects of who I am, such as empathy and humor, to help my clients cope and grow. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is an essential part of healing, so trust yourself and seek a therapist with whom the fit feels "right."
