Welcome! I provide individual evidence-based therapy, as well as psychodiagnostic and ADHD assessment for adults (ages 18+). Areas of expertise include the spectrum of psychological challenges, such as mood (e.g., depression), trauma (e.g., PTSD), and anxiety (e.g., social anxiety, generalized anxiety), and attentional/executive function (e.g., difficulties with organization, task initiation/completion, time management). Additional areas of expertise include managing problems in life, including stress management, medical conditions (e.g., cancer, transplant, HIV/AIDS), grief/loss, sleep problems, life transitions, and experiences of bias. I integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with each person’s goals and strengths to provide individualized, effective, and culturally responsive treatment. Assessments typically focus on understanding complex psychological or psychiatric symptom patterns, issues at the interaction of medical and mental health, and/or ADHD. Treatments provided attribute human suffering to the way we think about, and interact with, life’s difficulties to enable us to move towards a life that is full and meaningful. Treatment and assessment occur within a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, empathic, and genuine. Above all, it is characterized by positive regard for all people.
